This publication, developed for a NOH play of the same name, features transcripts of the play and accompanying essays in both Japanese and English. The booklet’s unique bilingual structure allows it to be read from either direction, with pagination ascending or descending accordingly. A photograph of the NOH mask, utilized in the performance, is printed onto deep black paper, adding a metallic impression.
