Amidst a sea of noise, simplicity gives rise to clarity. Studio Sebastian Fehr explores the essence of ideas, seeking out their fundamental elements as the basis for developing enduring forms of visual expression. The resulting outputs are defined not only by the presence of typography and abstract symbols, but also the space in which they exist. This space is designed to allow the mind to wander, drawing its own connections and conclusions along the way. Enabling this dialogue of sorts, the studio pursues the creation of engaging designs with aesthetic simplicity.

Sebastian Fehr is a Swiss graphic designer based in Tokyo. After graduating from Zurich University of the Arts in 2012, he went on to work for Lars Müller Publishers (Zurich) and Kenya Hara at Nippon Design Center (Tokyo), before establishing his own graphic design studio in 2018. Exploring the subtleties of both print and digital design, his recent projects span the fields of architecture, craft and product design.
