Jasper Morrison – THINGNESS

Design of a poster and further communication tools for the first retrospective exhibition of the world widely known designer Jasper Morrision. The exhibition named THINGNESS was initiated in the Grand Hornu Museum in Hornu, the exhibition traveled to the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich, Bauhaus Archive in Berlin, Grassi Museum in Leipzig to piknic gallery in Seoul. It describes a moment or a part of an object, rather than representing a specific product. The poster picks up the ply wood chair sketch by Jasper Morrison, which expresses that kind of „thingy“ moment. The typography becomes a part of the illustration.
